About the Event

This free one day workshop is based on an 8-week Mindful Based Stress Reduction course with UCSD certified teacher Laurie Hallihan. Our hope is that it will help you to begin the process of rediscovering yourself and to access the innate strength you possess. We will look for ways to change the habits and patterns of behavior that many of us have adhered to for years. During this workshop, we will create a safe space for learning more about ourselves through mindfulness practices. Some examples are, mindful eating, mindfulness in daily life using our senses, and investigating how our perception shapes our experiences. There will be time for sharing within the group, many experiential practices, and Laurie will happily answer questions. Give yourself the gift of attending this workshop with Laurie.
